The Trail
The Petranpad Ultra Trail is the longest ultra trail in the Netherlands.
Various nature reserves are strung together around the North Limburg municipality of Horst a/d Maas, resulting in a 112 km long trail.
The predominantly flat course on paper is often underestimated by participants who are unfamiliar with the area and think of a quick "walk in the park". Swamp parts, ditch and stream sides and a challenging part along a defense canal provide physical and mental challenges, be warned!
Your own GPS receiver (handheld or watch) with a GPX file supplied by us is necessary due to: the Trail version that deviates from the original route.

Start times, time limits and DNF (did not finish):

CPs close on the afore mentioned time calculation.

DNF (did not finish) status awarded. If you choose to continue with a DNF status, this is done at your own responsibility and you can no longer claim support from the organization.

A live tracker is made available and transmits the position to a website every few minutes and can be followed live by followers (family/friends/organization, etc.). Nice for those staying at home and also a bit of safety for the runner.
